Why choose us

We are at the forefront of changing the way we provide healthcare in England. We are developing new ways of working across the NHS. As a smaller organisation, we offer our staff a close-knit, friendly working environment. Staff engagement, recognition and wellbeing are vital to the success of our organisation, and we strive to be an employer of choice, providing a setting in which our staff can showcase their skills, innovative solutions and dedication to healthcare. If you have a passion for providing patient-centred healthcare and are a determined, forward thinking worker, we would love to hear from you!

Take a look at our current vacancies. If we don’t currently have what you’re looking for, register your interests with the NHS Jobs notification service and you’ll be one of the first to know!

Interviewing with us

We’re looking for people who live the values of our organisation and who are passionate about improving people’s lives. To find these people, we use values-based recruitment (VBR). This type of recruitment and interviewing process elicits why people do things rather than just what they do in any given circumstance; it helps ensure that our employees’ values align with the organisation’s values. An example question might be, “When have you made a service user / their family/ or a colleague feel valued?” relating to our Trust value of caring. We also utilise panel interviews and frequently include service users in the interviewing and recruitment process. Try to be creative when preparing for your interview and consider the different audiences who may be involved in your interview.

Vision on future apprenticeship

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

Equality, to us, means fair treatment and equal opportunities. We do not tolerate discrimination. We try to make sure that all our staff have equal opportunities for progression in their careers. We also try to make sure there are no unnecessary barriers in our recruitment process. Dudley Integrated Health and Care NHS Trust is committed to promoting equality of opportunity; celebrating and valuing diversity; eliminating unlawful discrimination, harassment and victimisation, including cyber or e-bullying and harassment; and promoting good relations. We are committed to achieving equality for all by reducing discrimination in employment and service delivery on the grounds of age, disability, gender, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation or socio-economic background.

“Everyone is different and unless employers take diversity seriously they will fail to recruit, retain and engage the commitment of the talent needed to sustain and improve performance.”
