    Working as a clinician within primary care in the Black Country and West Birmingham can bring huge personal reward to committed individuals. With 31 Primary Care Networks, comprising of 210 GP Surgeries and covering a population of over 1.4m patients, our diverse population means healthcare needs are extremely varied and your skills and commitment will be hugely valued. Our CCGs are all high performing and all been rated good or outstanding by NHS England/Improvement , whilst our clinically led workforce programmes for GPs and Nurses have also received national recognition.

    We recognise that as you grow in experience your development needs change and so we are committed to supporting all our Clinician's, and have exciting and innovative programmes for you no matter what your career stage! We offer a suite of funded schemes; more information on these schemes can be found on the page under the relevant role.

    Across the area, we have strong partnership working with our acute and community health Trusts, Universities, Health Education England and NHSE/I which provides a number of training benefits. We are also preparing for the opening of the new Midland Metropolitan University Hospital in Sandwell in 2022.
